Porter reaches back into his catalog for a great older number, playing guitar and singing 1961's "Everything She Touches Gets The Blues" accompanied by The Wagonmasters.
Porter introduces gap-toothed rube comedian Speck Rhodes: "There's a lot of comedians in our business, a lot of funny people. And then there's Speck." Speck ambles in wearing his usual checkered suit and bowler hat and tells an unbelievably unfunny "joke." Then backed by The Wagonmasters, Speck sings his novelty song about winter underwear, "When It's Long Handle Time In Tennessee." Speck dances to Buck's banjo solo.
Don Howser walks in to introduce the week's sacred number as being one of the show's most requested. With minimal backing by The Wagonmasters, Porter sits and recites the maudlin wartime narrative "You're Not Home Yet."
Porter welcomes back the week's guest, Sergeant Bill Bodaford, who plays guitar and sings "I Want To Go With You" backed by The Wagonmasters.
Porter calls Dolly in to sing "Milwaukee Here I Come" with him, and they get almost all the way through the song before they run out of time. At one point Dolly accidentally steps on one of Porter's lines and he gives her a sharp look, and she just looks at the camera and winks. Then Porter wraps up the show, waving goodbye as The Wagonmasters play the instrumental show outro, Don Howser signs off, and Mack fiddles and dances us off the air. End title super reads: "Produced by Show Biz Inc. in cooperation with WSM-TV."
