The Army, Air Force recruiting officer in Canada - Recruits go to Booth Camp via the train. MCS of the hundreds of Canadian men cued up to sign up for the Canadian military. Slowly the line moves. CU shot of one of the recruits wearing a cowboy hat. Another MS of the men getting weighed. Off to boot camp where the young soldiers are learning how to shoot riffles a MCU shot of the sergeant in charge of training. Next shot is of the soldiers learning how to handle bazookas. Test Flight New Jet Figther / Canadian Air Force Because of the war in Korea and the Communist threat, Canada decided to provide a long rang RCAF transport squadron for immediate service in the Pacific airlift at a time when transport planes were urgently needed. These are two of the planes that your watching in test flights. I could not identify the first plane but the second is an CF-5 Freedom Fighter.

National Semi-Pro Baseball Baseball - Semi-Pro team at Lawrence Athletic Park. There's a night baseball game taking place. (Minor League Baseball) People are walking into the Lawrence Athletic Field and getting ready to watch a ball game. The baseball players are warming up their pitching arms. Looks like the ROTC from a local high school marching with flags. The high school bands play some selected tunes. A MCU of two men and a woman (unidentified). The baseball pitchers are pitching and the hitters are hitting, looks like a good ball game.
Boys School With The Mounted Police Marching School boys with a British crest on the Jacket visit the Mounties and they watch and observe the Mounties We're at a Canadian boys prep school which may be housing exchange students from England. On their blazers is a crest. One half has the British flag and the other side has the Canadian flag with the oak leaf. The boys make their way out of the building towards the soccer field. There they see a marching platoon of Canadian Mounted Police. A mounted policeman is engaged in conversation with three of the boys. We see the boys returning to their classrooms and some make their way up to the bell tower. There several of the boys look down at the beautiful town below them.
Dedication Of A New Plant - Trains Federal Pacific Electric of Canada (FPE-Canada Limited) is incorporated. The dedication of a new plant takes place and the crowd consisted mainly of men. A high ranking officer that is connected to the military is making a dedication speech. You see puffs of smoke from the audience which consist mainly of men. The inside of the plant is spotless as we look down on engines being made. So far all we see is the skeleton of the engine the rest has to be put together. CU of a welder and sparks flying. MCU of a machinist making a wheel for the train. CU of a completed engine coming right at you and it keeps going and you can see the underside of the train.
