Job Interviews
The career center at a local high school is conducting job interviews for students. Segment begins with view of high school students being interviewed by local business representatives. Each company is assigned to a table. Interviewee sits on one side, while the interviewer sits on the other. There is a table set up for the "Warner & Swasey" company. A middle-aged Caucasian man wearing eye glasses, yellow dress shirt and tie, interviews a male African-American student. Behind this table there is a second middle-aged Caucasian man with glasses interviewing a second male African-American student. Now it's time for the beautiful little lady to sing what Porter describes as the most exciting thing she's ever put out, her sizzling cover of Jimmy Rodgers' "Mule Skinner Blues (Blue Yodel #8)." The Wagonmasters hoot and holler and back up Dolly as she yodels and belts out her breakthrough hit (no whip sound effects from Porter this time around, though). Dolly's completely out of breath afterwards and tells Porter "Don't you laugh at me."
Riding A Donkey
MS young white woman wearing tight-fitting blue jeans with big ugly bell bottoms riding donkey through parking lot outside high school (more than likely getting ready for donkey basketball match). MS woman crouched beside grazing donkey; white male trainer comes along & whacks at donkey's legs, forcing the animal to lie down. TLS/MSs woman riding donkey with others, occassionally having diffculty staying on, falling off, getting back on. Funny MS white man trying to leap onto donkey, falling hilariously to the ground. MSs young women trying to ride donkeys, most having difficulty (falling off, being bucked off, feet caught in reigns, etc.

"In the world's mighty gallery of telephone operators, you won't find this cat's name," says Porter in reference to gap-toothed hayseed comedian Speck Rhodes. Playing as always a lady-killer despite his missing teeth, checkered suit, and bowler hat, Speck places a call on an old fashioned crank phone and chats with fictional girlfriend Sadie, the telephone operator. Speck tells some corny jokes based on psychological delusions and old men chasing girls. Shots of folks laughing.
