Journalist Isabel Allende says "I can really relate to the ritualistic part of water becuase after my daughter died we cremated her. She left a letter saying that she wanted to be cremated. And she wanted her ashes in nature in water. So my family and I went to a beautiful forest where Paula used to go and we scattered her ashes in a stream. This was several years ago and I go there 2 or 3 times per week to walk in the forest and be there next to that stream that carried her ashes into the ocean. And I feel that in a way she is back, she is back in the rain, she is back in the clouds. There are so many ways in which I feel my daughter, in relation to water, connected to life and water."
