Now the hills hold another threat, floods. Dept. of Agriculture initiates a giant reseeding project for the burnt out park area. 500,000 lbs. of special grass seed mixture is sprayed onto the ground, just in time for rainy season. It seems that at the time this film was made they were unaware of the exact function of this institution.

Nazi atrocities filmed by the U.S. Army Signal Corps - Nordhausen Concentration/Labor Camp: Footage of camp after liberation by the 3rd Arm Div, 1st US Army. This was a sub-camp of Dora-Mittelbau which held Polish & Russian prisoners too weak or ill for work. When the 104th US Infantry Division liberated the camp on April 12, 1945, they found thousands of corpses and many more barely living skeletons.
