Spot opens with Sonny Osborne on banjo, Harley Gabbard on guitar, and Bobby Osborne on mandolin and vocal singing a little bit of "Ruby Are You Mad." Porter walks in wearing his pink Nudie suit and says "These are the Osborne Brothers, they're my guests this week." Porter names Norma Jean and Speck, then invites us to tune in, right on this channel. Halfway through the clip Bobby Osborne hits a high note and holds it impressively through the end of the spot. Shot of colorful title card ends clip.

Introduction to Porter Wagoner show #127. Program opens with Wagoner and Wagonmasters Mack Magaha, Buck Trent, Speck Rhodes, Don Warden, and George McCormick as well as Norma Jean onscreen singing "Howdy Neighbor Howdy" in front of a barnyard set painted a glowing lime green. Over brightly colored title card decorated with drawing of Wagoner, announcer Don Howser exclaims: "And now, in color, it's The Porter Wagoner Show, starring Porter Wagoner and The Wagonmasters, with Speck Rhodes and Norma Jean, and special guest stars The Osborne Brothers. Bringing you your favorite songs and stars of the Grand Ole Opry!" Howser enters and shakes hands with Porter, who wears his brain-roastingly garish pink Nudie suit. Howser says: "Bless you folks who've got color television, 'cause we're coming in in real living color." Porter adds: "And no remarks about my pink suit," but Don can't resist: "You can by looking, friends, he's really living it up, I'll tell you." Backed by The Wagonmasters (in matching western-themed blue suits of their own), Porter plays guitar and sings "I'm Gonna Feed You Now," from his 1965 album "The Thin Man From West Plains. Focus on Buck Trent and his electric banjo.

Interview with a middle-aged African-American man. The organization that this man represents had invited several councilmen to a meeting, but none of them showed. He claims that they didn't send any type of response. The man is disappointed by the councilmen's inaction.

Porter introduces The Osborne Brothers saying "I'd rather hear these boys sing harmony than anybody that I have ever heard." On banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass guitar (respectively), Sonny and Bobby (on vocals) and Harley Gabbard and Ronnie Blackwell perform "I Know What It Means To Be Lonesome." Someone off screen keeps cracking Sonny up during the song. Porter returns and intros commercial.

Porter returns and on the behalf of everyone on the show proudly displays the certificate they all just received (dated may 1967) from Country Song Roundup magazine for winning the 1966 Reader's Poll Award in the category of "Favorite TV Show." Porter introduces a gal who's been a part of the show ever since its beginning, Pretty Miss Norma Jean. Backed by The Wagonmasters, Norma Jean plays guitar and sings the Harlan Howard composition "Pursuing Happiness," from her 1967 LP "Jackson Ain't A Very Big Town." MS Buck's electric banjo solo. At the end Porter returns and says "Just pursuing happiness, and as pretty as you sung it you will find it my dear, I'm telling you."

A group of fraternity boys are walking up the sidewalk toward the camera. Two frat boys in front are dribbling a basketball while walking. The brothers behind them carry a sign with their Greek letters and "Dribble Marathon for MD-32 hrs-Please Give" written on it. A reporter jumps into the scene and asks some questions. The spokesperson for the group meets up with the reporter. Reporter asks man what this is all about. Man responds that it is a 32 hour basketball dribbling marathon for muscular dystrophy sponsored by the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

Coming out the commercial break, Porter places a call on Speck's wall-mounted old-time telephone. "Hello Sadie? Oh, this is Alice? I got the wrong number, I'm sorry, just a moment." Porter calls Speck's fictional girlfriend/ operator Sadie, tells her Speck's late but he's on his way. Speck runs in and tells a bunch of corny old-fashioned gossipy jokes about the folks in Drawback County.

Porter has Sonny introduce bassist Ronnie Blackwell and guitarist Harley Gabbard, then together the four of them perform "Roll Muddy River." Exquisite! Audience applause at tail fades out, then abruptly cuts.
