Master 34 - Tape 1 Lots o' B/W footage of early steam trains, most of it reconstruction/recreation: Archival TLS extremely early steam locomotive rounding curve slowly, coming toward camera. Recreation MS locomotive pulling three stagecoach-like cars full of people cheering and waving to the camera (people in costumes of c. 1850). Archival LS locomotive and one car moving r to l in the distance. Recreation MS two late 19th c. locomotives standing on a siding, pan to TLS of town square, (sign: SANTA FE) where people are dancing, they stop and move to listen to someone speaking from the balcony of train station (same shot found in catalog #312115).
