DO NOT SELL ON PREVIEW TAPE # 201128 This is a compilation reel of scenes deemed too racy by the TV censor board, scenes left on the cutting room floor before broadcast. There are two films represented. 1) RED DUST starring JEAN HARLOW set in tropical wilds (possibly Africa), and CLARK GABLE. There are four excerpts. SEG A: an unidentified man returns to his swanky metropoliltan home to find his wife dressed to the sexy nines and in the company of a cosmopolitan Gable. The husband silently and cowardly puts a coat over his wife's shoulders, they exunt (adultery at its most implied). SEG B: quick MS of sly Gable sliding a wad of cash between the sweaty breasts of an unidentified woman. SEG C: MSs of JEAN HARLOW, an insatiable blond helping Gable take his clothes off (a decent build, that Clark had); he wants nothing to do with her, she wants everything to do with him. SEG D: MS of the aforementioned blond taking a bath in a barrel, using her feminine wiles to try and seduce unbendable Clark (nice shot of him angrily dunking her head). 2) BEAST OF THE CITY starring JEAN HARLOW. Only one segment here, fairly long and erotically charged. A hard boiled cop pays sultry Jean a surprise visit on a simmering summer evening. They trade barbs and tenuous innuendo for some time, neither trusting the other as far as they could throw them. After sharing a few cigarettes, a couple of cold beers and a suggestive dance they give in to the tension, hook up.
