Norman Ornstein says that DUNN would have been swamped in MICHIGAN if REAGANOMICS had been the only issue, but the vote was close. REAGANOMICS worked in some places, REAGAN is still popular, but in places with high unemployment, REPUBLICANS got hurt. Discussion of the campaign issues, REAGAN'S role.
