A farming widow and her four boys and their overprotective dog try to con Lou into marriage, but he wants nothing to do with it. Bud and Lou become their prisoners. Features a very funny frog-in-a-bowl-of-soup gag routine. MS of a cock perched on a wood fence, getting ready to crow. Good MS of Bud and Lou and the four boys wearing nighties, all crammed into one bed. Nice MS's of Lou trying to talk to the German Shepherd, the dog trying to bite his face off. MS of the widow making pancakes on an old coal stove. MS's of inept Lou fetching pails of water form an old fashioned water pump.
