MS of Mrs. Pham at a meat vendor, a butcher cutting raw beef; zoom in to CU as he fine-cuts it. MS of Mrs. Pham reaching into her purse for money, handing it over. CU of small cuts of meat being placed on a scale. MS of Mrs. Pham standing at another meat vendor, this one kneeling on the ground and cutting fatty pork with an enormous knife; good CU's of her face as well. Cut to various tight LS's of the mostly outdoor market, many fruit and vegetable vendors in attendance. Good CU of an old woman with a shaved head (Buddhist nun?) seated at a spice booth; zoom out to MS, pan R to another spice booth, this one equally shady but more busy. MS of a fresh fish booth, small fish being pulled from a pot and onto a basket lid; CU of fish being pulled from pot. More MS's of several busy fish / shrimp / crab vendors, many purchases being made; CU of a crab crawling over several still ones on a basket.
