WACO HEARINGS: 1:00-2:03 PM - Master Number 10904 - INTRODUCTION: Footage consists of Chairman Zeliff calling the Waco Hearings back to order following a recess. He then introduces panelist Ray Yon who goes on to give his opening statement. Footage from 12:59:56 - 13:18:54 shows the Sub-Committee Chamber is recess. 13:18:55 Chairman Zeliff calls the Waco Hearings back to order. He calls Ray Yon to give his opening statement. 13:19:08 Ray Yon begins his opening statement. Speaking from the perspective of a Waco investigator, Mr. Yon states his personal conclusions about the Branch Davidians. He interprets their theology, discusses the state of the children held within Mount Carmel compound, and states David Koresh sought a confrontation with government officials. In addition, he comments on the use of helicopters, the testimony he received from Branch Davidian members and the fire that engulfed the compound at the end of the stand off.
