WACO HEARINGS: 3:00 - 4:03PM - Master Number 10906 - INTRODUCTION: The Following Waco Hearing footage consists of further testimony from the second group of panelists. After Rep. Barr asks Mr. Goldstein a group of questions, Rep. Thurman asks Carrie Jewel to read her graphic testimony concerning her victimizing while at Mount Carmel with her mother. Although it is not stated, it sounds as if Carrie's stay at Mount Carmel was on and off. Carrie needed a break after reading her testimony, therefore Chairman McCollum recesses the Chamber. After resuming, Rep. Thurman continues with her questioning of Carrie. 15:00:10 Footage resumes by replaying the questioning Rep. Barr was directing at Mr. Thibideauxin Master Number 10905. 15:00:51 Fresh footage shows Rep. Barr then asking Mr. Goldstein about his impression of the search warrant. Mr. Goldstein responds by stating it is full of excessive information, but that most warrant do. 15:04:50 A panelist who was scheduled to testify, but was late, arrives. Chairman McCollum swears in one Mr. Barber. 15:05:10 Rep. Thurman invites Carrie Jewel to read her testimony about the years she spent as a member of the BD. She tells how her mother entered her into the group at age 8, and that by age 10 David Koresh had raped her. Carrie's mother had told her David would day take her, and so when he did she states, "I was freaked out, but just laid there looking at the ceiling." Carrie's testimony also details David's teachings about "the final battle" between his people and "Babylon," meaning the American government, in addition to, how she was instructed to commit suicide. She was told to place a gun into her mouth, and to find the soft place at the top. After giving her testimony Carrie is visible distraught. Rep Thurman asks Chairman McCollum to recess. 15:14:52 Chairman McCullum recesses the Chamber to allow Carrie Jewel time to gather herself, and also so there can be another round of voting. 15:15:02 The Sub-Committee Chamber is shown in recess. 15:56:23 Chairman McCullum calls the Chamber back to order. 15:56:42 Rep. Thurman resumes her questioning of Carrie Jewel . She asks Carrie about the times she was questioned by government officials, and later, about the questioning she received while on "Donahue." Carrie describes how she was taught to commit suicide, and then how her father wrote to President Clinton stating that belief. Rep. Thurman then asks Carrie about other girls who were placed into situations similar to her own. Carrie names other girls, and details how the girls were kept hidden. 16:02:15 TAPE OUT.
