Parade of fine horses and fashionable carriages taken along what is now the Harlem River Drive, in northern Manhattan. The horses drive toward and pass camera on right; some people stand alongside the road watching. The view is from the Manhattan side of the river looking north; in background is an aqueduct /bridge (the "High Bridge"), and behind that is the George Washington Bridge. The wealthy Manhattanites seem to be enjoying their leisurely jaunt.
