Then, the pace-setter fades and "Tom Rofle" and "Dapper Dan" put on a stretch duel that has the crowd screaming. "Tom Rofle" cuts across the track next to "Dapper Dan" and a foul is claimed .. but disallowed, twenty minutes later, and the classy little horse goes to the winner's circle to eat the black-eyed Susan s.
