Before leaving he address the public he speaks of America's attitude toward the momentous parley. Secretary of State Byrnes: "We are of one mind as to one subject, that never again tell America to return to the policy of isolation. However difficult may be the past of international cooperation. From experience we know there can be no security in isolation. The effort to make peace lives in the hearts of men has only begun. To that effort a United America must dedicates herself for the sake of her own people and for the sake of all mankind".
