Jumpy, grainy, dull in contrast and imagery This is the first Curling Team to go on tour in Canada. This game was imported from the land of the Kilts, Scotland and incorporated as a sport by the North Americans. The game is played on ice, with curling stones (heavy stones with handles) the stones are slid toward a large circle with a center target on the ice. Men or women with brooms sweep the ice and clear the way for the stone as it slides along making its way toward the center and bumping other stones out of the way or closer to the target.
