Master 1 - Tape 1 Old Gangster-type car (early 1930s Chrysler sedan, will pass for late 1920s) rides through Joshua Trees in the desert. Nice rumbling car. Shot directly from the side, as if POV car driving beside it. One of the most interesting down the road shots we have. Joshua trees look great, dirt road. Car flips over and over, maybe ten times, in slow motion as it rolls down a steep hill. More a comedy shot than an accident shot, it succeeds because it is definitely real. After it gets to the bottom, two men come down, inspect the windows. They both get in the car and drive it away. The car is seen from the front, driving down a mountain road.
