Interview with an off duty rodeo clown (no make-up or costume). Reporter interviews clown who happens to be a lanky man wearing a large white cowboy hat. Reporter begins discussion by stating that the job of the rodeo clown is not only to entertain the crowd, but to distract a bull from a fallen rider. Lanky man picks up the conversation and states that the clown make-up is used to take away the gore and to add comedy to a threatening situation. Reporter mentions injuries inflicted by an agressive bull and mentions the fact that it is difficult to keep the audience laughing when you have broken bones. Clown comments by saying that it is important to keep the audience unaware of your injuries. Being a clown, he tries to make a joke out of being hit. The only time he couldn't come up with something funny is when he broke his back in five places and had to be rushed to the hospital. Ouch!
