Reporter Norm Wagy is on location in Washington D.C., the Capitol Building is behind him. The topic of his discussion is something he refers to as "military servants". He states that Elliot Richardson, before becoming attorney general, will order a drastic reduction in the number of military servants. He goes on to say that Senator Proxmire is "hopping mad" that about 1,700 enlisted men are employed as personal servants to military brass. Reporter then lists the type of work these servants are hired to do: babysitting, bartending, lawn mowing and dog walking. The army and the marines have announced that they will be phasing out their servant training schools. Apparently the navy does not have a formal servant training program. Aides to navy brass are assigned to an admirals house where they receive "on the job training".
