Segment begins with MS of people standing around a small bush that has been encased by a transparent cocoon. The voice over the audio is speaking into a microphone in the classic nature guide voice. CU of web worms crawling around inside the cocoon. MS male park/forest ranger telling a male reporter about the web worm. A cocoon is draped on a bush between the two men. The ranger states that the worm is in this location every year. He also says that people get concerned about the appearance of the worm's cocoon. It does look a little intimidating due to its size. It webs over a vast amount of space, spreading over entire branches of foliage. The ranger also states that the worm will feed on any type of tree other than the evergreen. Camera zooms in on the cocoon. MCU of reporter stating that the worm plays an important role in nature. CU of ranger as he states that the worm helps to control the amount of vegetation, the worm will prune branches and leaves. Tracking shots of the forest, catching glimpses of web worm cocoons in the trees.
