CU of hands exchanging money for a ticket, camera pulls back to reveal an African-American woman and her daughter buying tickets for the state fair, woman wears a red jacket and large hoop earrings, the two step away from the ticket booth while a Caucasian woman approaches with money in her hand, woman makes a motion of "one" with her finger as she looks at the young girl beside her. GV fair grounds with people walking the main drag that is lined with booths. GV balloon stand, kids walk by in the foreground. CU of elderly Caucasian woman dressed in a red quilted jacket sitting on a park bench, looking around and licking a vanilla ice cream cone. MS people strolling past the camera. CU head of Smokey the Bear, camera pulls back to reveal the huge low-tech animatronic Smokey puppet, Smokey's head turns to the side as his mouth opens and shuts, his arm moves up and down. MCU blonde boy and girl. MCU reporter crouched down speaking to a little boy dressed in a striped shirt, boy's mother is standing next to him, holding her purse in her arms, Reporter asks "David, what do you want to do most at the fair". The boy looks at the camera and then shrugs his shoulders. Reporter says "You don't want to talk to reporters though do you". The boy finally responds in this cute little voice saying "Yeah, but I just don't know what I want to do". MCU of reporter talking with a second little boy, this one is even younger than the first, a toddler with broken sentence structure. Reporter asks "What do you want to do at the fair". Kid responds with "I horsies". Reporter "You want to ride the horsies, have you ridden one yet". The boy shakes his head yes and points off screen. GV carnival rides from a distance.
