Cut to MS Caucasian housewife / mother-- wearing blue knee-length skirt and sleeveless blue floral print shirt and white high heels-- and toddler in kitchen; infant wears bib, sits playing with food in high chair while mother cleans area around sink; she takes the food away, picks him up and puts him on floor; the toddler begins crying, and she comforts him by patting his red pants and talking baby talk. TLS Caucasian mother and two daughters walking down pretty country lane in spring-- yellow flowers are blooming, and it looks warm; Ma wears blue shorts, white tennis shoes, pink shirt, girls wear matching blue dresses; idyllic, happy, safe, content.

Cut to MCU Caucasian mother w/ infant girl in nursery; woman talks baby talk, tries to burp child, cradles her to her bosom, etc; MS same mother and girl kneeling on floor, playing with red ball in cramped nursery, playpen crib in BG. MS Caucasian mother, wearing black sleeveless dress, combing hair of curly-haired child in diapers, sitting on her lap with spoon in mouth; MSs same only the child now holds a cookie as Mom tries to pin the baby's cloth diaper; kid nibbles on cookie while she adjusts the diaper. TLS Caucasian woman wearing light purple dress tucking in baby for nap in crib in nursery, a hanging mobile (dangerous) above the bed; Mom exits and camera tracks in & tilts to CU of wide-eyed baby in bed. Great shot.

Nice TLS swing set in park with Caucasian parents pushing white children in swings. MCU little white girl with curly blond hair and big blue eyes drinking milk, pale blond mother holding the small glass for her; after a few tries she finishes all of it, then takes glass. MS Caucasian couple posing on green grass outside church or in park with twin infants (twins), both wearing frilly bonnets & dresses; the mother wears a light purple dress and the man wears a dress shirt and tie-- judging by the attire and the cars in the BG, this particular shot seems earlier than 1953, perhaps early to mid 1940s.

TLS two white 10 yr old boys floating in inner tubes in suburban swimming pool, splashing each other; two girls of equal age in swimming suits watch on (one girl thinks this is the Riviera b/c she's not wearing a top, even though she's starting to develop breasts-- this is really creepy, mostly b/c there are adults present to stop such a thing from even happening and yet they elect to do nothing about it.
