A promotional piece for the absurdly extravagant luxury car, Excalibur Series III.
Opening montage of the good life, 1970s style: horseback riding, surfing, volleyball, tennis, golf (an old man makes an incredibly poor shot), bicycle riding (along a very busy road), hiking, sailing, condominiums, hotels, boating, resorts, cruise ship GOLDEN ODYSSEY, harbor with superyachts, etc. TLSs cars on road. Narrator speaks of the "necessary evils of mass production" and the conformity of today's car manufacturers. Unattractive side shots cut together to make the point: Corvette, Cutlass, Gran Torino, Nova, Delta 88, Monza, Pinto, Chevy Nova, Impala, Volkswagen Rabbit and Beetle, etc., other models looking somewhat alike in industrial design. More traffic shots, 1970s car congesting roads, narrator asking "Why should you sacrifice your usual luxury in the process? We don't think you should." CU hubcap of moving Excalibur car (a Dusenberg replica); MS/LSs Excalibur with young beautiful white couple driving it in posh suburban area. Dissolve to opening credits, incredibly pretentious title sequence with Excalibur hood ornament (a sword) and trumpet fanfare.
