Calendar: Days, Weeks, Months - Geared toward an audience of young grade school aged children, this educational film uses repetition & a weirdo clown to help kids understand how the calendar works.
Domestic Kitchen Scene: MS mother ironing in the kitchen as her grade school aged son Pat comes home, he takes off his rain coat & hat & asks his mom if he has to go to school on the 7th, the day the circus will be in town, mom & son walk over the wall colander to check. CU of the kitchen calendar as they look up May 7th, a finger points to the dates, landing on Saturday May 7th.
Domestic Kitchen Scene: MS happy boy jumping up and down after learning the 7th is a Saturday, "Pat can go the circus because it isn't a school day...", boy's mother takes the calendar off the wall so he can look at it more closely, now he will figure how many more days till the circus arrives. CU calendar as Pat points at it with his finger, he is figuring out how many days there are from April 27th till May 7th.
Domestic Kitchen Scene: MCU boy proclaiming that there are ten more days till the circus arrives. MCU mother & son seated in the kitchen as mom reassures Pat that ten days is not that long to wait, boy gets up from chair & hangs the calendar back on the wall, he counts the days he will have to wait once again & then walks off with a disappointed look on his face.
Dream Sequence: MS boy lying in bed sleeping, special effects create the illusion of a shadowy superimposed dream boy slipping out of his sleeping body, dream boy walks toward camera dressed in pajamas.

CU calendar as the 3rd Thursday in November is explored, marked differently because it highlights the Thanksgiving Holiday, ceramic turkey is superimposed over the date.
