This is a documentary on the 1983 March On Washington, which commemorated the 20th Anniversary of the 1963 March On Washington. It is narrated and hosted by Sheila Banks. The program is divided into three primary sections. Historical context of the 1960s Black Civil Rights Movement dominates the first portion of the program. Footage and photographic topics include: the Montgomery, Alabama Bus Boycott of 1955-56, the May 17, 1954 Supreme Court ruling of "Brown vs. The Board of Education," the "Little Rock 9" incident concerning school desegregation in Arkansas and the notorious street protests in Birmingham, Alabama.
