Establishing shot of Jerusalem. People walk around through a fort's courtyard; people's heads and upper bodies can be see as the camera pans right and as the camera swings down at a lower angle into a wide shot. The camera pans up from four men, in native dress, walking away on a dirt road towards some trucks to one of the fortress's towers. People walk back and forth on a street between the fortress walls with a bulding in the BG; some people have donkeys or camels carrying supplies or goods. The camera pans down from the fortress's parapet to people moving along on the street with a two story building in the BG; they are all carrying goods.

Two men appear to be packing up their goods in bundles and loading them on camels. Another shot of the two men lifting a large bundle and carrying it off. Tight shot of the camels being readied for travel as a someone lays a blanket/rug? on its back. A man places bag in front of the camel who sticks its snout into it. As the man walks around, the camel lifts its head becuse a pack animal carrying a chest walks by. The man finishes preparing the camel for travel.

MS of people browsing a fruit and vegetables market. Two people walk away from the market; each one carries a bag filled with produce on their back. While looking through piles of produce, one man loans another his pocket knife.

A man, wearing a fez hat, washes outs pans (tins) with his hands. He steps into one and swings side to side using bare feet(?) to clean the pan. CU of his feet, which have some sort of cover/brush on the soles moving in the pan to clean it. Tight shot of the pan's sides being cleaned by his fingers. Shot of ash or dust being thrown on a dish; it rubbed with a rag and placed bottom up over a small fire. After a few seconds, it is lifted off, the interior is rubbed and it smokes. Its placed back bottom over the fire. The dish is taken off the fire, rubbed, dunked in water and placed with similar dishes. Another man pumps a primitive bellows to stroke up the forge's fire. On the outside, a man seems to be sanding or smoothing out the metal of a pan. There are pots and bowls beside him.
