Leigh reads the winner of the Oscar for screenplay, which goes to the writers of "Pillow Talk." Applause. Curtis hands out the Oscar statuettes. Susan Hayworth announces Best Actor, Charlton Heston for "Ben-Hur." Heston gives her a handshake and a kiss, grasps the Oscar lovingly. Rock Hudson opens the envelope, sighs (audience laughs), announce Best Actress. He shouts the winner's name -- Simone Signoret. The actress comes forward for her award, looking emotional.
