Riots & Reform: Korea Upheavals Shake Government Scenes in a climatic demonstrations in a series of popular protest that lead to almost unprecedented that lead, almost to United States recruiting, and the resignation of the Rhee governments cabinet. For weeks the series of demonstrations of mounting turbulence has signaled resentment and alleged frauds and police tactics and the recent elections that has brought Sigmund Rhee a land slide fourth term victory. Now police crack down with new sternness and the opposition Democratic Party and firebrand student rule bear the brunt of authorities so called restoration of credence. Clashes between demonstrators and police have resulted in hundreds of deaths since the election with far times as many injuries. A pledge from President Rhee that he will regress major grievances and the registration or mass of his entire cabinet. Student are protesting for a free Democracy and the government take responsibility for economic development as they did in Europe. Throngs of students gather to protest economic development. CUS - Students wearing head bands working the crowd.. MS - Police forcing the crowds back holding bill clubs in their hands. MS - One student was knocked down to the ground and is holding his leg. MS - The crowd on the march down the middle of the street with their arms wrapped around each other, police can't hold them back. MCUS - A huge mass of students on top of a flat bed truck driving down the streets of Seoul. MCUS - Women have joined in the protesting, one is protesting holding a large basket on her head.
