I, and my family, have followed her progress among the free nations of the world with happiness and pride. Like the Commonwealth itself, this great land has been a magnifigant adventure in human brotherhood. Here, men and women of many races live in equal citizenship and perfect freedom. Freedom to speak, freedom to whorship and freedom for themselves and their children to seek and obtain equal opportunities for a full and happy life. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I thank you once again for your wonderful welcome and for all the kindness which you showed the king and me long ago and to the Queen and her husband when they came among you. I shall carry back with me, to my home, more happy memories and great joy and the knowledge that in your new found strength, you'll stand at the side of Britain and all the free nations in the world so bravely, so genorously and so steadlessly." The audience stands and applauds as she sits down.
