African American and Caucasian females and males give their opinions about rock music; preferring the feel of the music, exciting them, gives a headache, too loud and hard to listen to. Adult Caucasian female says heavy metal music attracts boys between 10-17 years of age, though sometimes it's just to get the attention of girls that may like heavy metal. Pair of teenage Caucasian females criticizing lyrics advocating drugs and sex, or little kids listening to the music and then "cussing". Female employee in record store thinks kids listen to the beat of the music more because they don't understand the lyrics. Preteen or teenage Caucasian males saying they understands the words, but they care about the beat of the music to dance along to. Caucasian teenage girl says parents don't like music at all.
