Carnival Rides
White sort of tubular shaped compartment rotates on an arm, probably meant to look like a space capsule (space race craze). Rhythmic. Doing full circles into the sky. Camera follows the cab. Dizzying just to watch it. A "spider" ride is next lots of kids going up and down on an 8-legged contraption. People walking on walkway behind it, some watch. Red and white painted ride against deep blue sky. Overhead wide shot of carnival rides. One airplane ride is rotating in the opposite direction of the ride next to it. Lots of motion, activity. Buildings in b/g. Camera pans over carnival ground (pepsi advertisement over refreshment stand is visible but a bit blurred in the pan).

CU kids getting off a ride. The carny stands at the front of the line - helping kids off, then takes tickets and helps newbatch of kids get on. White and african-american kids. Mcu of spinning ride - nice - with action coming upto and past the camera. 3 Ferris Wheels in the background, Nice opposite motion. CU machinery and framework of carnival rides, ferris wheel in b/g - lots of lines and angles, artistic composition. Swinging arms of rides moving across frame, and to and from frame. Close shot of ferris wheel close to ground, whirling rides in background, both moving in same direction. CU spider ride - arms with cars of people swing and rise up and down into and out of frame. Slow but still a sense of rhythm and chaos. "shake-Rattle-Roll" whirlygig ride in f/g - camera follows as it goes.

Little girl buys cotton candy from vendor. Dad pays for it. Little boys (twins?) walk around eight years old walk around with it. Wide view of interesting ride, like people in hamster wheels - rolling around, yellow and red.

Wide shot people walking around carnival grounds - terrific colors - ferris wheel and carousel in b/g. Carny's trailer seen, with forties car next to it. Camera pans the grounds.

Quick wide shot of moving colorful carousel; Wider shot of carnival grounds - ferris wheels, trees and sky. More cute kids in boats. Each boat has a name (Susan, Patrick, Gerry), a sail, and a bell. One boat is loaded with 4 little boys with buzz cuts.
