Backed by The Wagonmasters, Porter sings "Jimmy Brown The Newsboy." In a rare formal departure, Porter is chroma-keyed in front of a contemporary yet fuzzy and washed-out color film of a young boy selling newspapers on a Nashville street. After the song Don Howser returns to introduce the commercial.

Returning from commercial, Porter speaks on an old-fashioned crank-style telephone with Sadie the operator, Speck Rhodes' fictional girlfriend. Gap-toothed hayseed comedian Rhodes, wearing his standard checkered suit and bowler hat, rushes in and takes over, telling a bunch of corny old dumb jokes.
Sheriffs' Rodeo Rough and Ready
Sheriffs' Rodeo Rough and Ready. Cowboy comes out of the gate on a bucking bronco. Another cowboy comes out of the gate on a bucking bronco but he gets thrown off after only riding a few seconds. Man in dark cowboy hat comes out of gate riding a bucking, twisting bull. He falls off and the bull headbutts him. A rodeo clown distracts the bull and the cowboy gets out of the arena. Bull chases clowns and riders. Another cowboy tries bull riding, but this bull smashes him into the wire fencing surrounding the arena. Bull chases clown who dashes out of the way. Man falls off bull just out of the gate; the bull gores him and runs over him, but the man scrambles up and out. Another man tries some fanccy bull riding; it doesn't work. He falls off and gets stepped on as a rodeo clown runs over to distract the bull. The bull almost gets the clown. Shot of the clown running to the left.

Canada. Botadura de Un Nuevo Rompehielos. (Launching of new icebreakers.) (Title card in Spanish, but the VO is in English.) Icebreaker ship named John A. MacDonald. Men prepare for launch -- putting grease so it can slide into water, welding. Crowd watches nighttime launch ceremonies -- ship has lights on it. (Seems to be cold weather as everyone's breath is visible.) Prime Minister's wife, Mrs. Diefenbaker, does the honors.

Procession marches past a building with six pillars in front. Pan up from casket beginning arried inside to a sign obscured by a head. The only word fully is "Alcide De." Shot of large crowd in front of building.

Churchill Welomes Dignitaries. Man steps out of plane, walks toward Winston Churchill and shakes his hand. Churchill has a fat cigar in his mouth. The press take pictures. Dark haired man and Churchill walk toward something Churchill gestures towards. Man follows a woman descending from a plane where they are greeted. A camerman is filming it. CU of light colored hair man. Shot of building with cars parked out front. Churchill and step outside on the stoop. The two shake hands in the doorway. The dark haired man turns and shakes the hand of light colored hair man.

Nice Marching feet of demonstrators (both white & black). LS Crowd gathered in park, foggy buildings in BG. Male hippie wearing un-groovy top hat & military jacket & henna-like face paint, smiling & jiggling in park. MCU Two young girls wearing yellow sunglasses, floppy hat. Hippie chick wearing floppy hat, holding placard: "Peace with Beatlespower is Fun love for Life!" CU Young woman wearing thick black glasses, light-colored dot on forehead, sporting very short coif & sun-like metal earrings. Sign held over crowd "Draft Card Burning Here" with two people holding aloft burning draft cards. Jumpy shots students trying to burn draft cards while pushing reporters & cameras away. CU "U.S. Army" patch. Zoom out to young man wearing army jacket confronting a young male anti-war demonstrator, the latter opting to yell like most liberals often do while the hawk merely smiles patronizingly like most conservatives do when faced with liberal whining.
