Wagy Congress
View of reporter Norm Wagy on location in Washington DC. He stands with microphone in hand, the dome of the Capitol Building is seen as the backdrop. Wagy comments on the problems that President Richard Nixon is facing in the White House. He makes reference to Watergate and then moves on to other "headaches" from Capitol Hill. Wagy's commentary is as following: while the House was telling Nixon that they do not support the bombings in Cambodia, the Senate was telling him that he does not have the authority to impound federal funds appropriated by congress. The Senate passed a bill requiring the president to notify Congress within 10 days of ordering an impoundment. If Congress fails to approve the action within 60 days, it would be nullified. Wagy goes on: supporters of the measure claim that it is illegal for the president to kill or cripple programs by refusing to spend money on them. The president contends that he is only doing what other presidents have done.

The lighter colored jersey team does a running play with #34 who gains between 15 to 20 yards before being tackled. Running back(#34) gets the ball again and earns a touchdown. Shot of crowd. The light jersey team has the ball again. Quarterback(#22) throws a short pass to reciever(45) who is tackled at about the 22-23 yardline. #22 throws a touchdown pass to #45.

Staged scenes of "invention": car that prevents drunk driving. (DUI, Driving Under the Influence, DWI, Driving While Intoxicated) Man in hat, cigarette dangling from mouth, stumbles away from building (pretending to be drunk). MS - Woman pulls on his arm as if to try to stop him. He climbs into a car. MS - Man drives this convertible car (top down), swerving a bit, missing pedestrian. Blurry POV of bleary-eyed intoxicated driver. MS - Same man, standing by car, takes a swig from a bottle. He gets in car and breathes toward a device, then tries ignition. Alarm lights flash, alcohol meter ("alkohol" in German) reads high, lights and smoke. MS - The would-be driver gets squirted in the face. He and his lady companion get out of car and walk away.

Another man, Bob Goldby makes long putt ("chip shot," says VO). More of Barber and Snead, who wins. Man in old explorer-type helmet (representing De Soto??) and young woman in tiara stand with Snead, the woman resting hand against a car (prize). Snead strokes her arm. Then the car; she looks surprised but laughs.
