American Civil War re-enactment: MS US soldier (Yankee) and Confederate soldier (rebel) charging each other in woods, the Yank clocking the Reb with stock of musket, knocking him to ground, so he stabs him with bayonet & charges on; MS Yankee soldier behind thrush of brush, a puff of smoke going off behind him so he falls over as though injured; MS wounded Yank (bloody bandage on head) shooting charging Reb; MS Yank crouched by felled tree, loading rifle & then shooting a charging Rebel dead; MS Yank shooting Reb charging from behind him. High School; they enter through heavy glass doors, other white students following them; VO says, "At one time or another I think every girl wants to be a cheerleader. I mean, how can you help it? The excitement of the game, the real great uniforms, the rallies, the honor, the chance to jump around and express yourself without anybody putting you down." Dissolve to MSs line of Edina cheerleaders in gymnasium, leading a "W-I-N" cheer; "All set?" they ask of their peers sitting on bleachers, who reply, "You bet!" Good angles on the girls jumping and leading the cheer. Dissolve to MS 3 young Caucasian girls-- sporting unusually butch haircuts, wearing sleeveless striped shirts & shorts-- practicing cheerleading cheers in their backyard. MSs white teenagers in crowd, cheering & applauding, some with devotion typically resigned for rock stars. L/a MS teen boy about to shoot free throw, looking nervous. MS cheerleaders almost getting hit w/ basketball on sidelines. TLS HS ice hockey game. H/a LS Kansas University football game; TLS cheerleaders in red & white uniforms cheering on sideline of large football stadium. MSs Edina high school cheerleaders spelling out "W-I-N", crowd joining in & applauding. MSs HS wrestling match between 2 white teen boys; Edina is losing, so the crowd boos, but the cheerleaders spin around & do a cheer to get things positive again; MSs white teen girls smiling, applauding in bleachers; MSs wrestlers spinning, trying holds, one ultimately pinning the other, the referee making the count; MSs cheerleaders clapping, leading cheer.

1957 Chevy Ads
Ad for Chevrolet Station Wagon. Opens with Chevrolet logo, then animation of Caucasian family scrambling up & down steps of suburban home, racing outside to place items for weekend camping trip beside car. Dissolve to real footage of luggage & whatnots on curb, Chevy station wagon backing up; MS luggage magically stacking in cargo hold. Precious MS three white children snuggled in bed-- in the cargo hold! TLSs Chevy Station wagon driving through suburban tract, then on dirt road, stopping at cabin. MS spokesman standing at window outside "dealership", dolly in to product shots of shiny American steel & craftsmanship, replete with front license plate that reads, "1 USA" (150 Handyman & Belair Nomad).
