Segment begins with a young African-American woman serving a ball on the tennis court. The woman is tall and thin and looks to be in good shape. She wears a short white tennis dress with knee-high socks. There is one return from her side of the net and then her opponent hits the ball out-of-bounds. View of court were the young woman is playing a young Caucasian guy. The guy is dressed in t-shirt, shorts and floppy sun hat. View of girl hitting ball with tennis racket. Dolly Show Ep 112 - Close
Dolly and Lynn Anderson trade pleasantries about how nice it is too see one another, with an easy rapport that demonstrates a real friendship. Lynn jokes about having the only char-broiled Dolly Parton costume in town, and they trade more thinly veiled jokes about Dolly's bosom. Then Dolly wraps the program by singing the standard closer "I Will Always Love You" as end credits roll.
Tornado Damage
This is a bizarre scene were a reporter interviews victims of a tornado. A family of three (mother, father and young daughter) sit on the edge of the foundation of their house. Behind them you see the remnants of what used to be their living room. The walls of their house have been torn away leaving the interior completely exposed. So the family sits in the place where their wall used to be, a reporter is seated next to them with a microphone in hand. The first question the reporter asks is, "Did you have some doubts, at any time, that the house was gonna hold?" The father states that it felt like even the concrete floor was shaking. He goes on to say that the whole thing only lasted about 15 to 20 seconds. He came up the stairway to find that his living room no longer existed. The dining room, living room and kitchen were all gone. "Looked up the hallway, and that was gone too." The man kind of laughs after this statement. It is surprising how calm he remains. His wife comments, "All we did was pray". The man thanks the Lord that his family is alive and that no one was hurt. They all got out without a scratch. The reporter asks about the animals. The man tells a story about how his German shepherd flew four houses to the south, while the neighbor's dog flew in the opposite direction. Both dogs survived.

Industrial Fair Opens The Industrial Fair opens and it is different from what we know today. All the vendors are set up in booths demonstrating their wears. Showcased are stoves, refrigerators, vacuums, tractors and cars. But it doesn't stop there. There is a fashion show for the 1950's modern woman. The first model wears a full length winter wool coat with bell sleeves and a fur collar, next model has an evening gown on. There are two models wearing suites with matching gloves, hat and purses. Look out.... a two piece bathing suit that maybe has a zebra print on it and a beach jacket to match, next is a one piece bathing suit with a design of sorts on the bottom. At last the crow a queen of the Industrial Fair. .
